Family
Since 2008, Leesburg has been more than just a place to live – it's been home. I've experienced its unique charm firsthand, residing in all four quadrants, including the vibrant downtown. I've shared its growth, challenges, and triumphs, feeling a deep connection to its residents.
After having our second child, finding a house within our budget in Leesburg was a challenge, but it was something my family and I wanted to prioritize. A move to a rural area could've been financially simpler, but our hearts were set. We cherish the spirit of First Fridays, the vibrant Flower Show, the deliciousness of Solo Pizza and "Gas Station Thai," and the joy of exploring the bike trails and charming downtown streets. Leesburg is where we belong, and I will be honored to serve as your voice on Town Council.

National service
Since joining the U.S. Air Force in 2003, my experiences have profoundly shaped me. They instilled in me the values of teamwork, meticulousness, and resilience, which I now bring to every challenge.
After completing my active-duty service, I transitioned to the Air Force Reserves as an Emergency Management Superintendent. Here, I lead a team of emergency managers, training them in CBRN identification, response, and protection. Additionally, I manage the Emergency Operations Center during activations.
Throughout my service, I've deployed internationally three times and domestically over a dozen times, including the Hurricane Katrina response. These experiences have equipped me with three key assets I can contribute as a Councilmember:
Collaborative Spirit: No one can do everything alone. The Air Force emphasizes teamwork, a principle I'll consistently uphold as member of Council through a focus on collaborative effort.
Meticulous Research: "Trust but verify" is a core tenet. As a member of the Leesburg Town Council, I'll always conduct thorough research to understand every issue's nuances.
Resilient Leadership: Adversity reveals character. I strongly believe my training, professionalism, and commitment to teamwork will guide me through any challenge.

Community Dedication
Lifelong Service: My commitment to my community began at 15 as a volunteer firefighter. Since then, I’m proud to say that throughout my entire professional career, I’ve only had one boss: the citizens of my community. After my full-time Air Force service, I proudly transitioned to a career firefighter with Loudoun County Fire and Rescue (LCFR).
Leadership & Teamwork: As a Captain and Station Commander with LCFR Station 13 in Leesburg, I lead a crew of firefighters and medics. My responsibilities include personnel management, budgeting, scheduling, and fostering strong volunteer relationships. I prioritize clear communication, empowering my team for success, and swift collaboration to address community needs.
First-Hand Perspective: My years on the front lines have given me a deep understanding of the issues facing Leesburg residents. I'm passionate about using this knowledge and my dedication to serving the community as a member of the Leesburg Town Council.
